Date of Course: 12th to 13th of March 2011
Venue: Swissotel the Stamford Singapore
Sponsored by: DHL
This week, my brain didn’t have a chance to have its time for leisure. I was overworked with projects; follow up, my own work scope and courses to attend. My brain juice was almost used up and pre-occupied with a lot of major details and information. I wasn’t able to give my best as I just couldn’t concentrate. I need time to recuperate too, that’s for sure. I began to wonder how much money has the company invested on the trainings. Cost spent on he venue and the great spread of buffet at the Asian Market Place – Fairmont Hotel. As it is not only for Singapore , it is globally.
The company has invested on CIS. As we are now working in a more competitive and challenging world, we need to make sure that our team at DHL Express have a reputation in the industry. This would mean training the employee to be highly motivated, passionate and skilled international specialist. In order to be successful in the future, we should work together as a team, be at our personal best and work towards the same goal. That way, we will beat off the competition. I was highly motivated about my work when I saw the clips on customers’ feedbacks and the business aspect of customer retention. It elaborated on how loyal customer can bring about a growth in business. This would definitely require great service quality, managing and handling service breakdown, tackling service recovery and lastly, to focus on service renewal. For the first time, I enjoyed the training. It was very rich with vital information about the company background and also the peoples’ network. It was critical to know and standardized the process flow so that we can work together as a team. It came with a tech savvy animation which caught my attention personally. The cool graphics, the characters and the slideshows somehow took the conception of courses and training to the next level. It was no longer like a “lecture” for the trainee. It was more on engagement and participations and open questions. The material that was provided was interesting and captivating as people were more attentive to such approach instead of just reading for the slides. Overall, it was a thumb up! Going back to work, my focus will definitely be on speed, Can-do attitude, getting it Right 1st time and passion about work.
P.S: I am a Certified International..
