It’s my first Iftar outside with his family. It was a last minute plan where Kak An informed Andy that she will be treating the family as she has just promoted. Woo hoo promotion! When will I get mine? Hopefully soon...When the time is right, I am sure that everyone would like to try something different instead of doing the same thing over and over again. But one thing is for sure that I love my current job and I am always looking forward to work even with those heavy workload and killer datelines. I just enjoy being part of the team.
Okay back to MEATWORKS! A place where you can fulfill your meaty cravings! It is conceptualized by meat and food lover. I am not the kind of meat lover, however im so in love with what I had at the restaurant. Diners and guests can enjoy a casual family indoor dining which is complete with a rustic charm. A red meat diet has nutritional benefits and it is useful for the development of the body as it contains proteins, good fats (Ermm is there such thing?) and minerals.
At the random fingertips of mine, I choose to dine that huge serving of that PHILLY CHEESE STEAK SANDWICH (SGD$24) where the thin slices of sirloin steak with melted cheese and it is wrapped up in my toasted Focaccia buns. Every single bite is a gastronomical delight! Mister Sir Fiancé had his SIRLION or Rib EYE steak – grilled to your liking (SGD$40) which is served with creamed potato mash, gravy and organic green. Yummy! Mister Sir was on his own world again and at times was seen ignoring his Madam. Never mind, I shall let him enjoy his food. To complete it all, we ended the diving dining with a chocolate blended milkshake! Woo Hoo!
My overall first time dining was a satisfying experience and yes; you will see me and Andy patronizing the same spot again but not as soon as we are supposed to be on a very strict diet! Rite love?
Okay okay! Let’s do our calculation again and if the financial permits, I would really love to own the classic. Else, we can also go for the one at MIU MIU which is retailing less then what I wanted. Girls and their handbag! It’s a good thing that he didn’t ask me, “Why would you need such an expensive handbag?” one thing for sure, I will just walk out of the shop…Hahaha…Typical Idah!
So if you have no ideas of where to dine during Iftar, try the MEATWORKS! It is located at ION Orchard at level 4.
