My Half day of rest on Sunday

We were supposed to have a cardio workout ~ playing the badminton with Andy and his cousins. I woke up super early ~ setting my alarm to make sure that I can wake up on a Sunday which usually I don’t! Since I am still early, I started out preparing my gear, searching for the rackets and packing up the necessity.

Two more hours to the game ~ more than sufficient time to clean up the house! I was wrong! The moment I start cleaning up, I just can’t stop! From my room, to the living room, the kitchen and the bathroom.

Luckily I am not living in a mansion! Else, I wouldn’t know where to start. All of us including me do have bad cleaning habits ~ no one seems to care about tidying up. Magazines and newspapers everywhere, dust, dirt and bits and pieces of torn papers all over the place. Bread and cookie crumbs almost everywhere. Messy sofa and cables and wires lying around all over the place.

The floor feels sticky and filled with dirt. I could feel it sticking to my “ugly” feet. I don’t have time to clean up the house and what about the rest of the people in the house? Why is it that I have to clean it up all the time? What happens when im not living there anymore? Do I come back visiting a junk yard? We do have a serious problem here. If no one is taking charge then who will?

To my brother and maybe my sister reading, please think of what you will have to say when I question you about this because I hate being told of not acting as an older sister.

Okay! I continued cleaning up without realizing that it’s almost time for the game. I can’t stop halfway can i? I informed that I will not be joining and that stirred up a world war Two (almost)! Sorry for missing out on the appointment! I just had to set my priorities to cleaning my house which seems never-ending with no one else to assist me! Haiz! Will married life be like this too? Maybe yes!

My so called WW2 for canceling my appointment lasted only about 2 hours and I texted Andy “Are you coming?” Hehehehe…

Are you still cooking?” ~ Andy

After those long hours of labor, I finally managed to take a well worthy rest watching two movies back to back ~ Hangover and Insideous. Complete with my favorite Cajun fish, prawn fritters and wedges to ease my day and not forgetting Mr Fiance who accompanied me through the night…

P.S: Thanks Baby...
