To All my Muslim Friends,
Let's welcome Ramadhan ya Kareem with open arms. We thank Allah for giving us this opportunity to be with him again to be part of the holy month of Ramadhan. During this month, it is well known for its forgiveness, endurance to resist the temptations and faith.
In this month, Muslims refrain from eating and drinking during the daylight hours and is intended to teach the Muslims about patience, spirituality, humility and it is our responsibility to perform more prayers than usual. Ramadhan is an auspicious month for the revelation of God to humankind. We believe that this is the month in which the first verses of the Qu'ran were revealed to the Islamic Prophet, Muhammad.
Like everyone else, i will be waiting for my Laylat al-Qadr ~ the night of decree which is believed to have occured on the odd numbered night during the last 10 days of Ramadhan... Dear God, i seek solace in you and i know that my nawaitu comes from my heart...guide me during this holy month ~ thats all i am requesting from you...
P.S: Happy fasting everyone!
