I AM AGORAPHOBIA

It is known to be the most disabling and difficult to be treated. Ermm..Agoraphobia can be defined as fear of being alone, or fear of being in public places in unfamiliar settings. Some agoraphobics fear open spaces, like large bodies of water or open fields. I am afraid of being under the water, especially the sea. The fear is a physical attack from an unknown object, things or animals. Though there are varying degrees of this fear, ranging from sea snakes to sharks in dark water where the swimmer cannot see the bottom or the particular area is terrifying. Yes! The dark water.

 I will be perfectly fine; if it is a clear pool of water that is visible to my sight. Every time when I am under the sea, I will imagine myself being killed by anyone or objects or even creatures. No I am not imaginative. I don’t come up with all this imagination and images. I just get fearful and terrified as I saw underwater plants or dead people trying to reach out for me. Childish thought? Silly? Maybe! Who doesn’t have fear for anything? I am sure you have one too! Don’t lie!
