A photograph is always looked at, seldom looked into ~ Ansel Adam
There are thousand of photographers out there. Not surprisingly, with the increasing trend of photography as a hobby which eventually leads to passion. If someone were to present me with a DSLR camera for my birthday, I will be glad to accept it too and proceed with my passion as a photographer. Seriously! I believe in capturing moments and use it as a referral or as a reminder of the past. Everyone can be a photographer but it is hard to find one who is able to capture moments ~ as great moment is a matter of a few seconds. It can’t be repeated and replayed. There are no second chances with weddings and quality images do not happen by chance! A photographer would will be able to suggest settings and style for unique and memorable shots. Not the old-fashioned way please ~ Can you run around the coconut tree?
I would love to have a photographer to be with me all the time and capture those moments in life that I wish to be reminded of. For example, the way I look when I’m happy, mood less or simply my feelings, emotions and reactions. Wouldn’t it be great and interesting? People have their own conception and perspective of what photography is about. It can be used to study and record movement. For me, it is used to preserve memories of favorite time, to capture special moments, to tell stories and to send messages.
It will be awkward for me to listen to the photographer on how to strike a pose ~ “Can you put your hand on his shoulder and look into his eyes?” I can’t stand that! Period! I want it to be free, natural and fun but at the same time it is crucial for the photographer to be aware that I want my special moments to be captured. Don’t command me to rise up my hands in the air or turn 45 degree to my left and look at something! Don’t ever! I will do what I want and I will be the way I am with I am with Andy. The focus point is to capture my antics with him, my natural smile, and my crazy laughter, I way I cover my mouth when I am laughing and the way I always try to seek for attention from Andy. The way I secretly glanced at him when he was not looking and the way we hold on to each other’s hand when we walked. For a photographer to capture all these moments I will give a thumb up and you have done an excellent job in meeting up with my high expectations in photography.

I have made a few selections on my favorite photographers. I simply love the natural looking shots which are not “Dramatic” if compared to other photography. I simply love it when a photographer is clever enough to capture shots which will make me look beautiful. Its all about the timing, angles and that fast shutter!
