It has been an awesome 4 days in Bangkok, Thailand with the great companionship of my fiancé, Mr. Andy. At 28 Deg Celsius, the weather was scorching hot and it drained us of our sweat that you could practically see me drinking almost all the time. The moment we landed in Bangkok, we knew that in our mind, we are set and ready to shop till we drop. Yes indeed!
Those non-stop shopping and walking was extreme where it comes to a point that my muscles got so cramped that I find it difficult to walk. Luckily, there were massage parlors almost everywhere. At 150 Bath, you could enjoy a 1 hour massage which was soothing and relaxing ~ calming me down and putting me to sleep. I felt so relax and it did help to ease the muscle pain.
Thailand was in the midst of an election during the days of our visit. We were warned to stay in the hotel room if the situation was chaotic. Fortunately, it was peaceful and though there were public demonstration of from the supporters and protestors in Bangkok, it didn’t affect us as tourists much. We were given flyers and pamphlets as not to vote for certain parties. Somehow, it was different and happening. I couldn’t help it but to take pictures ~ lots of it as I witness the protests being carried out publicly on the highly jammed traffic in Thailand.
For us, on the other hand, traveling together really meant something for the both of us. It’s either we are holding hands and laughing or squabbling and quarrelling with one another. We had disagreements, we fight, we argued but we made it up peacefully. At the end of the trip, he understands his cranky and his stubborn fiancée more. His willingness to give in to my ridiculous demands and compromising made this trip one of the most memorable trip for us.
My "Thai" fiance insisted that we take the public trainsport ~ train instead of the taxis or "Tuk Tuk". As long as he knows what he is doing, then i am fine with it. I think i will be fine as long as i have Andy by myside.
It made me realize that we had so much difference and similarities. At the end of everything, we are thankful that we have each other to shared sorrow and happiness together. Though at times, I find it hard to understand him and feel like giving up. Oh well, that’s part and parcel of a relationship ~ Nothing is perfect and be thankful to God that he has loan someone this special to you….
P.S: Enjoy the pictures
