Have you ever wonder why? Have you ever caught someone looking at your direction? How does he/she look at you? Imagining you naked or simply observing some that they like? If you have any type of feeling of insecurity or narcissism then you will always think that people are staring at you when infact most of the times they just happen to look in your direction. Maybe sometimes, they might be looking at you because of something they like to see like you hair, the way you are dressed, that killer stilettos heels or maybe that authentic branded bags that you are carrying. You can't stop someone from looking at you. So are they looking at you because you are ugly or maybe you are just blessed with that good look? Are they physically attracted to you? Hmmmff…let me think…
I dislike walking by a hawker centre which happens to be crowded with men especially during lunch. I might either get “cat whistle” ~ (like seriously, how lame can it be) or middle aged men randomly saying hi to me or inviting me for a cup of coffee. That might be one of the reasons why I have my bodyguards ~ colleague from eCom team to accompany me to pack our lunch. It’s funny that I always managed to catch men looking at me from head to toe. I am not blowing my own horn. It doesn’t mean that when people looks or stare at you all the time means that you are pretty or good looking. I feel so insecure sometimes especially when im alone. Mind you please ~ those men who stare and say hi to me with an intention of getting to know me are mostly about my dad’s age. Okay. Maybe a little bit younger than that. Sometimes maybe someone around my age but still it is rare. Heheheheh…Im not stopping you from looking but do have your own limit. Oh yah, last week when I was in Batam, all of us were in the lift with this middle aged man and Linda realized that he was looking at me in awe. Not forgetting that I was also stopped in the immigration department there as the officer wanted to ask me if I am married. Even if I am not, so what? It does not involve anything about me leaving the country so why not you just validate my passport and let me off. *pissed*.
Just now at work while I was in the lift, one of the helper told me that I look pretty. *blush*. My spirits were lifted high up in the air as I listened to her constants compliment about me. About how round my eyes are, how high my cheekbones are, my lovely dimples and my face. “Thank you aunty for making my day when no one else did”. Sometimes such compliments make your day to know that you are being appreciated by someone. Wouldn’t it be better if it is your other half who says that to you? I will be on cloud number nine for sure. So do people look at other with intentions either good or bad? What if you can read a person’s mind? Would it be good to know what are they thinking of as they are staring at you? I also love to notice man’s antics as they secretly stare and gaze at a woman walking pass them especially when they are accompanied by their partners may it be their wife, girlfriends or fiancée. It is done discreetly without letting the other half know about it. or else, he will be dead by the hour. Bah! Some people still look anyway! And so the day went off quite smoothly till I got a call from Angela who was at customer’s site and she informed me that I have an admirer. Huh? How can that be? I have not even visited the site before and amazingly I already have a suitor that. Wow! Angela was describing to me on how shy the guy was when they were talking about me. A good choice for me! A man with benefits as he work for the bank and they will get low interest rates for loan. Thanks for thinking in advance for my future but I think handling my only man ~ my fiancé in my life right now is critically a challenge. If it is a physical attraction for a man, then how does this so called “admirer” of mine fallen in love with me? Is he blinded by infactuation?
Okay ladies! Relax! I am not boasting about myself here as I am sure it happens to all those beautiful and lovely ladies out there. Especially for those gorgeous ladies ~ to get a second look from a man is common as you know better that you have the looks! Don’t think of me as a threat as I am nothing great if compared to you. Only my fiancé thinks that I am pretty (hopefully). Hahahaha…Just think of me as a plump lady with waist length black hair, huge thighs and calf (that Roberto Carlos thigh), that crooked set of teeth with braces, that thick spectacle lens , that nerdy nature of mine and nothing more interesting of me. I am just a person of my own world lucky enough to meet the man of my dream who is willing (ahem) to be with me! How nice!
