I am not in the mood to update about the recent RES examination which I have taken with Mr. Fiancé. Though we studied real hard for the papers, ~ those late nights and heavenly food, overflowing supply of Starbucks Coffee and smoothies(Yum Yum), I really feel that I didn’t do too well for my papers.
While everyone were celebrating and announcing that Paper 1 was easy, I had a totally different view on the first paper. To me, it was tricky and requires constant thinking and deep understanding on the topic. It wasn’t that easy at all. Tough luck huh? Yes, it sure was for me at least. Retake or what? Maybe my chances of passing Paper one is ermmm …50-50
Paper 2 was indeed a breeze for me. I was smiling when I was doing the paper. Okay, am I being too overconfident now? Hehehehe….praying hard for a good result so that I do not need to retake the examination again!
After the completion of Paper II, Andy drove me and his mum to Geylang Serai on a hot Sunday afternoon. Please be informed and reminded that this is our first time searching high and low for our Hari Raya stuffs with my future mother-in –law. It’s a good thing that she is around to assist us with our unlimited choices.
Firstly, she knows a lot of boutique owners. Secondly, we are able to get good bargained prices for what we had purchased. Thirdly, she managed to convince my Fiancé to get a matching set of clothes as mine. Lastly, she will soon be my mother-in-law and this bonding time together helps me to understand her a little better.
Please be informed too that I hate going to Bazaar Geylang. It’s the crowd and the stuffiness that turned me off. Halfway down the way, I would already feel super sticky and my legs will be pleading me to leave. We had planned our agenda for the day earlier ~ sourcing out for the traditional Hari Raya costume to be worn on the first day of Eid. We have decided initially to get matching white color “Baju kurung” for this year and so we went around Tanjong Katong Complex to search out for it. I’ve tried on a few and ended up making up my mind on getting a black one for this year. Okay never mind! We can always have white next year!
Yay! My outfit is checked and done with. Next on the checklist is to get those goodies to be served to the guest during their visits. What should I get? I was thinking on getting a few bottles of cookies but ended up buying some crackers instead. I think I will just ask my mum to get it ~ sometimes I really have bad taste in food choices! - according to Andy!
