There are several occasions in life where lying is much wiser than telling the truth. Am I wrong to say this? I am sure that almost everyone tells a simple white lie every now and then. In a world where honesty is overestimated, we should ask ourselves: could a white lie harm so much? Even better, are there some situations where it’s better to lie? Can anyone tell me which is the best situation?
To tell or not to tell? To tell the truth will lead to many open questions and I will definitely be bombarded with more. To lie means the truth will eventually surface someday. Little did I realised that starting a little white lie leads to a bigger one. Especially now, my little white lie can be detected so easily by someone. Maybe that's the little "magic" of being with someone for a while. He/she can just read you like a book and he/she knows when something is not right.
And guess what? Amazingly, I have a confession to be made that I have learnt to speak up the truth as lying will just get me into something deep. I have learnt to believe that nobody can run away from mistakes and problems. There is always a solution to every problem if one choose not to lie about it. Communication plays a big part in avoiding lies and somehow it feels better to be telling the truth all the time. To admit that I am in the wrong and to learn from it and hopefully never to repeat the same mistakes twice.
For sure, all this happens because of someone who belongs in my heart. Its obvious isn't it?
However, a lie (whether it’s little or monstrous) is not always the solution, even if you can get away with it. However, telling a simple lie for a good cause isn't a great false step.
